Price on request — contact us for details and availability.
A finely embellished Mauser P.08 Parabellum-pattern pistol from Mauser-Werke Oberndorf GmbH, featuring hand-engraved oak leaf scroll work across the frame, toggle, and barrel, with fine gold inlay accents and carved ivory-tone grip panels. Chambered for 7.65mm and 9mm.
This is a commemorative/exhibition-grade piece rather than a wartime-issue sidearm, presented in a fitted wooden display case complete with reference cards and historical literature on the original Pistole 08 design — making it a striking decorative piece for collectors of fine engraved arms.
About the P.08 Parabellum design: The original Parabellum-Pistole was designed by Georg Luger and adopted by the German Army in 1908 (hence "P.08"), becoming one of the most recognizable sidearms in firearms history. Its name comes from the Latin maxim "Si vis pacem, para bellum" ("If you want peace, prepare for war"). The historic design was produced by DWM, the Erfurt arsenal, Simson, and later Mauser starting in 1930, and served German forces through both World Wars — a legacy this presentation piece pays homage to through its engraving and included literature.
